We are a group of Venetians and have founded ForVenice - a non profit-making Cultural Association. The objective, and also the founding principle, of this Association is the raising of funds to safeguard the artistic and cultural heritage of Venice and charity work in general.
This project has been matured after years of constant attention regarding the problems of our city which is unique in the world not only for its beauty, but also for its problems.
The consciousness of being citizens of Venice represents a privilege, as well as a responsibility. We have searched at length to find the best way to actively contribute towards the restoration work of the city and for this reason we are constantly involved in various activities aimed at its conservation and growth.
After numerous attempts to contribute in the most useful way possible to the renewal of Venice, we have focused on the distribution of the two elements associated with the city throughout the world in both the real and symbolic sense: the water of the lagoon and glass.
We have agreed to promote this initiative via both Internet and more traditional channels.
